Informed Consent for Genealogy Data Use and Third-Party DNA Result Review

1. Introduction: This document outlines the informed consent required for participation in genealogy services provided by Legado Genealogy Services.

2. Nature and Purpose: Includes genealogical and optional user-provided DNA data from services like AncestryDNA. We do not collect DNA samples directly.

3. Use of Data: Used to provide services and optionally upload data to third-party platforms (only with your permission).

4. Sharing and Disclosure: Only with your explicit permission or when required by law.

5. Risks: May include unexpected discoveries or data risks if uploaded to public databases.

6. Voluntary: You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting legadogenealogy@gmail.com.

7. Confidentiality: We use safeguards and follow our Privacy Policy.

8. Consent: You affirm that you understand and agree to the terms of this Informed Consent.
